Peach Jam: Two Ways

I wasn’t sure that I was up to doing any more preserving this season, but the last of the fresh Ontario peaches were on the shelf and I knew it was now or never (or at least now or not until late next summer).

I’ve never been one to make just basic jams, so, I made up two batches of peach jam that are a bit different – a Peach, Orange and Cherry Marmalade and a Peach and Pepper Jam. Recipes for both follow.

  1. This is a fantastic post! I stumbled upon it while I was looking for a Peach Pepper Jelly recipe with Ontario peaches. I’ve just made 19 mini jars for my upcoming wedding and it’s the first time my fiancee or I have ever tried to make anything like this. Great recipe and great instructions! (sooooo yummy)

  2. So glad you enjoyed it! I just made a batch of the peach orange myself and planning to make the peach pepper later this week.

  3. I really wanted to find a great peach pepper jelly recipe and this is it! Excellent flavor and not difficult. It’s wonderful over cream cheese and will be great to use in cooking all year; especially when we want a taste of summer!
