1 cup butter, at room temperature
1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup raisins
Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to butter mixture and mix well. Stir in oats and then mix in raisins.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased or parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven of 350° F oven. for 10 to 12 minutes.
