If you’ve never made Monkey Bread before, your guests are seriously missing out. This recipe is SO easy to make and never fails to satisfy taste buds. Made for tearing and sharing, this Chocolate Caramel Dessert is the perfect thing to serve at a holiday party or even just a simple get-together.
I’m always tight for time, especially during the holidays so the simpler a recipe, the better. When I learned that I could make this fun dessert with store bought cinnamon bun dough, I decided right away that this was on my holiday dessert menu and added my own twist- ooey gooey chocolate and caramel!
By the way, let’s keep the store-bought dough a secret between us, ok? Here’s how you do it:
2 packages of Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Bun dough
2 Full-size bars of caramel chocolate (I used Caramilk chocolate)
1 Bundt Pan
…Yep, that’s it!
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Step 2: Grease your Bundt pan with butter or vegetable shortening
Step 3: Section each of the Cinnamon portions into 4 portions
Step 4: Take a portion of dough and place 1 piece of the chocolate caramel into the centre of the dough
Step 5: Close the dough around the chocolate and roll into a ball
Step 6: Place each piece into the Bundt pan and repeat until finished
Step 7: Bake your Monkey Bread in the oven for 25-30 mins
Step 8: Set aside to cool for about 5 mins
Decorate with frosting or icing sugar and voila ;)
