Google's SearchMash quietly rolls out

You'd be hard-pressed to realize that searchmash.com
 has anything to do with Google. But a whois search shows it to be true.

According to this article, Google's SearchMash is Google 2.0, a sandbox for playing with search result toys, including Ajax, image search and the ability to re-order results.
