Instant Color Schemes from words

Instant Color Schemes takes a unique approach to generating color schemes. You just type in a descriptive word (or words), such as "blue sky" and a color scheme is generated.

How does it work? Instant Color Schemes takes 5 related images from Yahoo Image Search and then shows the most prominent 6 colors from each image.

You can chose from a number of suggested words or enter your own. Some words work better than others. The scheme illustrated above is from the scheme 'Antarctica', but there's no #FFFFFF in it at all, which probably would be the obvious color to be returned. (Maybe they screen out white :)

A fun tool to play with though for color inspiration and the use of words might help focus colors based on the tone or mood you're going for.
